A partial lunar eclipse titled Half-Blood Thunder Moon will appear in the sky at midnight tonight. As the Blood Moon appears, it will shine a red light over the Earth. The eerie red glow onto the Blood Moon’s surface is a phenomena that some believe heralds the end of days.
Controversial American Pastor Begley has now claimed tonight’s eclipse confirms multiple biblical prophecies.
Mr Begley, declared on his YouTube channel: “Blood Moons are rising but we want to talk about the fact there’s a midnight Moon over the Holy Land. It’s coming.
“On July 16 into the early morning hours of July 17 a partial Blood Moon will appear over Jerusalem, over the entire Holy Land, in the middle of the development of the peace deal.”
He asks: “Will there be peace or sudden destruction? Is this the apocalyptic hour?

“Is this the hour that the Bible says the son of men will come or is God about to send us a sign that the soon return of Jesus Chris is imminent?
He cited Genesis 1.14: “And god said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
“But there is also the Bible’s speech about the midnight hour”, he said, adding “you always know the midnight hour is a special time in God’s clock.”
Mr Begley continued: “This Blood Moon is going to be over Jerusalem and the entire Holy Land taking place on July 16.
“It’s a prophetic sign from God. It’s happening right at midnight.”

The pastor said that because most of the world is involved in this peace deal, from Israel to Palestine, to US President Donald Trump, Queen Elizabeth II of England and the EU, this midnight moon will can lead to a series of events.
He said: “Pray that you’d be worthy of escaping the hour of temptation. The hour is coming.”
The pastor than cited The book of Exodus, which reads: “’And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
“‘And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants and all Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.”
A passage referencing the Blood Moon can be found in the Book of Revelation, the Book of Joel and the Book of Acts.
The Book of Revelation Chapter 6:12 talks about great earthquakes splitting the Earth open, the Sun turning into a “sackcloth made of goat hair” and the Moon turning blood-red.
But despite the preacher’s doom-laden prophecies, there is nothing to fear from the dazzling spectacle of nature.
The Blood Moon eclipse is the result of scattered sunlight bending around the Earth’s edges and passing through the planet’s dusty atmosphere.
During a lunar eclipse, the Moon vanishes in the Earth’s shadow and only small amounts of scattered sunlight fall on the lunar orb.
