EMMERDALE’S Pierce Harris will kill again after murdering Graham foster, actor Jonathan Wrather has hinted.
The soap star made a sensational return to the Dales last night when he was unveiled as Graham’s killer after being released from prison for raping his ex-wife Rhona Goskirk.
Appearing on This Morning, Jonathan told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that the Emmerdale villagers need to watch their backs now Pierce is back.
He said: “Everyone should be a little worried. Everyone needs to be watching their backs.
“I’m not saying he’s on a rampage, but he’s got something to prove. He has something in mind.
There’s a logic to everything Pierce does, a skewed logic, but he’s very intent on rescuing Rhona from this man. Clearly violent and dangerous so that’s his priority.
He feels like this is how he can repent and a catalogue of events happen and it turns into this maelstrom”
The sinister character made a bombshell return last night after hitting Graham over the head.
Wearing a black hoody, evil Pierce stepped behind Graham in the woods and smashed him over the head – killing him.
Vile Pierce was sentenced to five years in prison in 2017 after subjecting Rhona to a violent and horrifying rape on their wedding day.
He later convinced his mother to stalk Rhona in an effort to avoid punishment for his crime.
Rhona has bravely fought back from the brink and recovered from what Pierce did to her but fans are horrified he has returned.
One wrote: “OMG ..pierce!!!! Some of us said this at work but…. they did make sure we knew he was out too!!! Wow..just wow well done and sad to see graham go…..”
A second said: “@emmerdale I did NOT see that coming!! #pearce.”
Another added: “IT’S PIERCE! Brilliant!”
A fourth wrote: “OMG What A Twist. Congratulations Emmerdale. Never See That One Coming #BestSoapEver #BestStoryline.”
Earlier this month Rhona received a phone call from victim support informing her that Pierce would soon be up for early release having served half his sentence.
There appears to have been other clues about Pierce’s return too.
Last week Rhona heard banging in her house and rushed to check it out only to discover it was Vanessa at the veterinary surgery linked to the cottage.
There was also the disappearance of Rhona’s son Leo’s passport that she blamed ex Marlon Dingle for.
All have pointed to the return of Pierce, but viewers will have to wait until tonight’s episode to see Graham’s murder from his perspective.
