EMMERDALE actress Isobel Steele is releasing her debut EP next month after impressing fans with her singing voice.
The young star, 18, who plays Liv Flaherty in the ITV soap, excitedly announced the news on Instagram with a selfie snap.
She wrote: “Hey everybody! I’m terrible at promoting things but my EP is out on the 1st of November!!
“I’m very excited to get it out. Frequent music after this I promise ???? Swipe for track list :* EP art/cover out soon :).”
The four-track EP is titled Sounds From The Lounge and consists of songs called: Grow In Silence, Half Of It, Helmet’s Too Small and O!
Isobel regularly shares pics from her home-made recording studio, that includes a drum kit, keyboard and numerous guitars.
Despite the actress’s hidden talent only coming to our attention earlier this year, her first music snap featured as early as 2016, when the star, who would have been 16 at the time, revealed she was recording music.
One year ago Isobel began posting videos of her impressive singing on her YouTube channel and has racked up millions of views.
The channel features covers of tracks such as Japanese Denim by Daniel Caesar, Candles by Daughter, Be My Mistake by The 1975 and an original song called Half of it.
Isobel revealed at the end of last year that after previously writing a list of everything she wanted to achieve. Her top goal of ‘write and record an EP’ is now a reality.
She previously said: “I’m ridiculously excited and nervous to share it and I can’t give an exact date because I’m unorganised but early 2019 my debut EP “Sounds From The Lounge” will be ready to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music and all that good stuff.”
The actress was at the centre of one of Emmerdale’s most gripping storylines earlier this year, that saw Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) groom 16-year-old Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren-Plant).
Isobel’s character Liv was used as a cover up by Maya and Jacob as they continued their controversial affair.
And fans feared for Liv’s life at one stage after conniving Maya spotted her and Jacob growing closer.
