Emma Stone has stepped out with new fiance David McCary just days after announcing her engagement – and flashed her new diamond ring in the process.

The couple looked glowing as they walked the streets of New York City, hot on the heels of their great news.

Oscar-winner Emma and Saturday Night Live writer Dave revealed their plans to wed earlier this week.

The pair took to David’s Instagram to reveal the news, along with a cute picture of them with Emma’s sparkler front and centre.

David captioned the picture with some simple love hearts.

Bless!

The pair headed out holding hands, with Emma – rugged up in a blue coat and black boots – flashing a grin as she made no effort to hide her new piece of jewellery as Dave, who was wearing a denim jacket and black trousers, looked head.

Zombieland: Double Tap star Emma has been dating David for two years.

Emma, of course, won an Oscar for her work on the hit film La La Land, while David has won Emmys for his work as a segment producer on SNL.

They’re quite the modern showbiz couple!

The actor has previously dated fellow movie star Andrew Garfield and Kieran Culkin, brother of Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.

Emma will next year star in Cruella, a prequel spin-off from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians film.

Speaking recently to Entertainment Tonight about the role, she said: ‘It’s pretty trippy. It’s wild.’

We can only imagine!

She added of Glenn Close, star of the previous 101 Dalmatians movie: ‘I think she’s obviously the GOAT [greatest of all time].

‘But I also have just loved the cartoon for a really long time.’

‘This comes before [Close’s] story,’ she added of the film, which focuses on Cruella’s younger years. ‘This leads to her to where she becomes true greatness.’

Fans have quite a wait in store though – the hotly-anticipated movie isn’t out until 28 May 2020.
