When is Elvis: That’s the Way It Is out?

The movie was expected to be released soon, however, it will now be released on August 13 of this year.

The film will be shown for one night only, so fans who want to see the documentary on the big screen will only have this opportunity.

For those who want to move their previously arranged tickets, they must contact the box office of their local cinema, though at present this could be difficult.

Many cinemas are currently closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, after many films had their release dates delayed and some even opted to release their films in other formats.

As a result, fans should try and contact their cinemas over the phone or online, as many will not be open to allowing punters inside.

The documentary and concert film follows Presley’s triumphant return to the stage in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 31, 1969.

He had been absent from the stage for almost a decade, and this series of concerts broke all box office records and completely re-energised the career of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

The feature-length documentary features performances of Love Me Tender, Blue Suede Shoes, Heartbreak Hotel and Suspicious Minds, among others.

The movie also shows the legend preparing for an emotional career comeback, with fans who travelled from all over the world for the history-making event.

The film, as well as being rereleased, has also been remastered.
