Election tactical voting: Can you vote tactically in the general election? How?


However, as many constituencies are considered ‘safe seats’ for certain parties, some believe their preferred candidate does not have a good chance of winning. 

In November, it was announced the Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and Plaid Cyrmu had agreed an election pact.

Under the pact, the parties agreed a list of 60 seats where the parties wouldn’t stand against each other.

This was implemented to get as many pro-Remain MPs in Parliament as possible, in theory.
