EastEnders spoilers: Whitney Dean makes dark deal with Leo in huge plot twist?

Eastenders’ Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) has been through the works recently, what with her stalking and emotional abuse ordeal by paeodophile Tony King’s (Chris Coghill) son Leo King (Tom Wells). But after the villain was pushed over a balcony by Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) in an act of heroism, will Whitney end up making a dark choice in order to save her friend?

It’s been a turbulent few weeks on the BBC soap, leading up to an epic showdown between Kush and Leo, that went down on Monday night.

Following the paralegal’s sinister obsession with the fashionista made worse as Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) using her logbook as evidence to arrest him, Leo had it out for Whitney once and for all.

Cornering her on a balcony of The Prince Albert, he revealed that he was able to talk his way out of the charge and threatened that the police wouldn’t trust her as a reliable source.

But viewers watched as Kush swooped in to rescue her, after stumbling on the encounter where Leo had Whitney in a tight hold.

As Kush and Whitney look on in horror, viewers are left wondering if Leo will die as a result of his injuries.

It is not yet known if Leo will survive the fall, but it seems highly likely he will return and continue to terrorise Whitney.

Will this force her to take matters into her own hands as she fights back?

Wracked with guilt about what might happen to her friend, Whitney vows to put things right, but will she listen to her worried sister Tiffany Butcher’s (Maisie Smith) pleas to be careful?

Or will she go in all guns blazing to finish Leo’s reign once and for all?

Set to ignore Tiffany’s advice, Whitney takes matters into her own hands but what is she up to?

Elsewhere in the Square, could Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) be about to make a comeback?

She didn’t have an easy ride on the BBC show after a the horrific assault by Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and making an enemy of Max Branning (Jake Wood) following Lucy Beale’s (Hetti Bywater) murder.
