SHARON Mitchell will find out who the father of her unborn baby is in EastEnders tonight when the results of her DNA test finally arrive.
So is it her husband, Phil, or ex-lover, Keanu Taylor?
Sharon was shocked when she found out she was expecting back in May as she had no idea who the dad was.
She even considered having a termination, but when Phil caught her looking at abortion websites, she had to come clean and reveal she was pregnant. A delighted Phil assumed he must be the father, having no idea about Sharon’s secret romps with hunk mechanic Keanu.
After finding out who the biological father is, Sharon then puts her foot in it when she accidentally reveals to her step-son Ben that Phil has cut him out of his will.
Ben is stunned when he finds out the shocking news, and is even more horrified when Sharon reveals to him that he’s been cut out in favour of Keanu.
With secrets and lies being uncovered and revealed left right and centre, it’s a huge week for the Mitchell clan, leading up to Phil being brutally attacked in The Arches tomorrow night.
The ageing hardman of Walford finds himself caught up in a. As he attempts to get control of the situation, it soon becomes clear it’s out of hand and Phil is left for dead.
Towards the end of the week, those involved in the brutal attack take drastic action in order to cover their tracks, but just how far are they willing to go to keep their name out of the frame?
The Sun Online revealed earlier this month that legend Phil – played by Steve McFadden in the soap – would be left fighting for his life after being attacked.
Among the prime suspects are son Ben, played by Max Bowden, wife, Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Walford mechanic Phil finds himself in danger when he goes in search of those responsible for the theft of his money laundering proceeds.
Ben is also determined to fleece him while Sharon is desperate to keep her affair with Keanu a secret.
A BBC source said: “Things have been bubbling for a while with those keeping secrets from Phil.
“With him oblivious to it all and looking forward to becoming a father and grandfather again, life couldn’t be looking more perfect.
“But secrets never stay secret for long in Albert Square.
“As everything comes to a head, certain truths will be revealed, but others remain hidden — for now.
An argument ensues and quickly escalates, forcing those involved to fight their corner, leaving Phil fighting for his life.”
