EastEnders spoilers: Phil Mitchell to die after shocking clash with Keanu and Sharon?

EastEnders fans are keen to know when Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) affair will be rumbled.

They have been together for a while, and now she’s pregnant, it seems all eyes are on who the baby’s father is, considering she’s married to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

However, in a new summer trailer for the BBC soap, there’s about to be an explosive fallout as Phil ends up fighting for his life.

In the teasing clip, Phil can be seen in a tense confrontation with Sharon and it seems he’s ready to dish out the truth.

Phil hands Sharon a piece of paper, but it’s unknown what it actually is.

His wife pleads and begs him not to, however, it seems Phil has made up his mind.

Is this a divorce paper or does he know the truth about the baby’s real father?

Later on, Keanu takes to attacking the car lot, while a disgruntled Phil looks on.

But, it’s all just the build-up to the huge clash every EastEnders fan has been waiting for.

The teasing trailer reveals Phil and Keanu will go head-to-head as the former screams: “Not one more word. Not one more word.”

However, it looks like it ends in disaster for Phil as he can be seen in the back of an ambulance.

He undoubtedly looks worse for wear, but will this be the moment Phil is finally killed off?

Elsewhere on the trailer, Max Branning (Jake Wood) can be seen getting very close to Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton).

They are about to start up a steamy relationship but it’s sure to cause drama as she is best friends with Max’s former fling, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Furthermore, it seems Stacey will realise she’s not really over Max despite having kids with Martin Fowler (James Bye).

A source previously told Metro: “Ruby and Max are an electric match and the chemistry between them is undeniable, but it’s safe to say they’ll have some obstacles coming their way.

“Ruby is completely oblivious about Max’s history with her best mate Stacey, and it’s only a matter of time before she finds out but just what will Stacey make of the pairing?”

Ruby has had a bit of a tough time on EastEnders recently, with the millionaire going through a terrible rape ordeal.

She does deserve some happiness, but will she find it in Max?

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC at 8pm.
