EastEnders spoilers: Iqra Ahmed’s outed as lesbian by Adam Bateman in storyline first?

Iqra (played by Priya Davdra) has been keeping a secret quiet on the BBC soap.

It looks as thought it’s Adam Bateman (Stephen Rahman-Hughes) who will confront her over it.

She’s been hiding text exchanges she’s been having with other women as Iqra looks set to be EastEnders’ first muslim lesbian when the storyline unfolds, reports The Sun.

“Iqra has been fighting to keep her sexuality quiet, but eventually the truth will emerge,” a source told the publication.

It comes as Iqra is at odds with Adam her his treatment of her sister Habiba (Rukku Nahar).

He’s been having an affair with Habiba all while continuing a relationship with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton).

In upcoming scenes he will notice a message on her phone and attempt to blackmail her over it.

Tension between them grows as he lets down Habiba once more this week and he goes on to visit the Ahmeds.

He then uses the situation to make Iqra feel uncomfortable as he presses her on what she’s concealing.

The dentist later spots Iqra looking all dressed up and grills her on who she is meeting.

But viewers will have to wait and see how she reacts to Adam.

Iqra arrived on the soap with a secret as it transpired she had run away from an arranged marriage.

She felt guilty about the money her parents had spent on the wedding, but never returned home.

Elsewhere in Walford, Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) could be involved in explosive scenes following on from a hint from the actress who plays her.

Tilly Keeper has said Louise as the capability to turn “psycho”, something which may rear its head if Sharon’s (Letitia Dean) affair with Louise’s boyfriend Keanu (Danny Walters) is revealed.

With Sharon set to receive the results of her baby’s DNA test this week, it could be a possibility.

“It would be so interesting for Louise to go full psycho,” Tilly told The Sun.

“When I was introduced to the show, Louise did have a villainous streak to her so it wold be lovely to explore that again.

“And a golden rule is you never cross a Mitchell so we’ll see.”

EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
