EastEnders fans sickened as Rainie prostitutes herself for £30 in front of baby

The former drug addict has had a hard time in recent weeks, forced to sleep in stairwells and beg for money after a thief left her penniless.

Unfortunately, it only got worse for Rainie Branning on Thursday night’s episode of EastEnders, as she resorted to prostitution to earn a couple of quid.

She was approached by a man in a suit who asked whether she was “working”, before turning away in horror when he laid eyes on baby Abi in the pram beside her.

Feeling helpless, Rainie then urgently replied: “She’s not mine. She’s sleeping. We won’t wake her.”

Discussing money, she asked for £50, but then said she would settle for £30 if he was “quick”.

The sleazy businessman then picked up the phone to let his wife know that he’d be home late, as Rainie, played by Tanya Franks, began undressing beside him.

Clearly regretting her decision once he began kissing her, she kept looking over to baby Abi asleep in the pram.

After a moment, she changed her mind and told the man she couldn’t go through with it, reaching to return his money to him.

The man violently shoved her against the railings, sickeningly attempting to rape her.

In the nick of time, Stuart Highway, played by Ricky Champ, appeared and threw him off her, yelling: “She said no!”

Viewers were horrified by Rainie’s decision to prostitute herself in front of the little one, taking to Twitter to vent their outrage.

One said: “Rainie’s back on the game? No! With a baby in tow as well.”

A second added: “Rainie’s seriously going to become a prostitute when she’s meant to be looking after baby Abi? What on earth?”

And a third chipped in: “Seriously she was gonna turn a trick with the baby in the pram..!”
