EastEnders ‘ Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) has been left fearing for her son Denny’s life after getting on the wrong side of Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite).
The EastEnders cast member is desperate to keep Mel away from her son, who she gave birth to back in 2006.
But as Denny made an appearance for the first time in months, fans were stunned at his massive growth spurt.
One posted: “Denny taller than Sharon now?”
Another added: “Crikey, has Denny been drinking Miracle Gro…?! He’s not been seen for weeks and now is taller than Shazza!”
A third chipped in: “Denny suddenly got really tall.”
A fourth chipped in: “Denny disappears for two months and comes back 10x older every single time.”
Denny quickly stormed out of the room as Sharon said she wouldn’t let him have a puppy, and viewers didn’t see him again.
Meanwhile, as horrified as Mel sent her pictures of Denny in the Square, along with a lock of hair.
This came after Sharon only gave Mel £12,000 out of the £20,000 that Mel blackmailed her for.
Sharon went storming round to Mel’s and told her to stay away from Denny, thinking that Mel had kidnapped him, and was told that it was a warning about her behaviour.
At the end of the episode, Mel found Sharon to tell her that she wanted a new villa in Portugal, and she was sending her and Phil away to find her the perfect house.
