EA shares full pre-E3 livestream schedule, including a look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

EA might be skipping its usual E3 press conference this year, but it’ll still be flashing its upcoming wares across the internet, via a series of game-specific livestream presentations – and the full schedule has now been revealed.

While EA’s press conference is no more, the publisher is still holding its annual pre-E3 fan event, EA Play, this year, and its livestream is intended to complement the show. Proceedings get underway on Saturday 8th June and can be watched on YouTube and Twitch.

If you’re planning on tuning in for the whole livestream affair, you’ll want to settle down prior to 5:15pm in the UK (9:15pm PDT), when the scheduled Countdown to EA Play begins. That’s immediately followed by what’s likely to be the main event for most people: 30 mins of Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. That begins at 5:30pm (9:30am PDT), and half an hour of Apex Legends follows from 6pm (10am PDT).

Next up, there’s fresh Battlefield 5 news at 6:30pm (10:30am PDT), a look at FIFA from 7pm (11am PDT), Madden NFL’s turn at 7:30pm (11:30am PDT), and the whole thing comes to a close with some Sims 4 shenanigans at 8pm (12pm PDT). And for those at the back with a fondness for bullet points, all of that looks something like this:

EA Play 2019 Livestream Schedule, Saturday 8th June

  • 5:15pm (9:15pm PDT): Countdown to EA Play
  • 5:30pm (9:30am PDT): Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
  • 6pm (10am PDT): Apex Legends
  • 6:30pm (10:30am PDT): Battlefield 5
  • 7pm (11am PDT): FIFA
  • 7:30pm (11:30am PDT): Madden NFL
  • 8pm (12pm PDT): The Sims 4

If you’re unable to tune in, rest assured that Eurogamer will be on-hand to relay the most pertinent announcements from the livestream. And by “on-hand”, I mean posting news on here, not yelling the salient points at you from the other side of your living room.
