Dracula on BBC: What scene was actor Claes Bang most 'terrified' of filming?

Dracula on BBC has been written by Sherlock Holmes’ Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.

This is the second time the pair have decided to bring a classic story back to life.

They were eager to put their own spin on Dracula and ensured he was the main focus in the story.

Moffatt said: “The big challenge we set ourselves was to make Dracula the central character of his story for the first time.

“If you know the book, it’s in the first and third person and he’s obviously very shadowy and we thought what would it be like if he was the anti-hero.

“And that meant we had to give him a personality which spans four centuries.

“If you are immortal effectively, I should hope to God you’ve got a good sense of humour.”

Dracula will air its first episode on January 1, 2020 at 9pm on BBC One.
