Donald Trump tricked into retweeting 'F**k Donald Trump' account

Donald Trump has been tricked into retweeting an account with the username “F**k Donald Trump”.

The US President has spent much of this morning retweeting more than 50 messages from people claiming to be firefighters who say they’ll be voting for him come the next election.

It comes after former Vice President Joe Biden, the front-runner to be his Democratic opponent in 2020, drew widespread support from Union leaders backing his campaign.

Despite Trump claiming he is not concerned about Biden blocking his second term in the White House, he has been tweeting about the former VP almost every day since he announced his candidacy.

Most recently, he’s been arguing that despite union leaders backing his rival, actual union members support him, and he started retweeting dozens of accounts claiming to be owned by union members to prove it.

Unfortunately for the President, one of those accounts had got wise to his plan, and set a trap for him.

The account tweeted: “My husband a New York City firefighter for 15 years will be voting Trump 2020 all the way!!”

And when the US President found that in his feed and retweeted it, the owner swiftly changed their name to “F**k Donald Trump”.

And they changed their profile picture to an image which read “Anyone but Trump 2020.”

The tweet came from a fake account posing as a Trump supporter, one who had previously been retweeted by the President.

The original account has the username @glamourizes – and according to a Newsweek article from 2017, when it were retweeted for the first time, is owned by a 21-year-old Trump supporter called Madison.

The fake account – using the username @gIamourizes, with a capital I instead of the lower-case L – was set up in the days after that 2017 retweet, and has been occasionally tweeting pro-Trump messages in the hope of catching his eye and securing a retweet.

Today, the prankster hit pay dirt.

At the time of writing, the account had changed its profile image to a pro-Bernie Sanders banner.

In a tweet after the successful prank, the account holder wrote: “What a great morning.

“In all seriousness, our president is an awful, hateful human being who wants nothing more than to keep the status quo and hatred prevalent in our country when we should be pushing forward with the rest of the world towards progress and change.

“Please vote.”
