Denise Welch has cheekily suggested that Piers Morgan ‘self isolates for two years’ in a savage tweet she shares about the Good Morning Britain host.

Piers has been very vocal on social media about challenging the British government and their response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The number of confirmed cases of the virus and resulting deaths is continuing to rise in the UK, with many countries in Europe, like Spain and Italy, now in lockdown to try and control the spread of coronavirus.

Piers has called out the government on their response to the pandemic so far, but in doing so, he’s found himself being accused of ‘panic spreading’ by a number of other stars.

And his tweets have certainly left Denise irked, who decided to offer Piers some advice and suggest he ‘self isolates’ in America for a couple of years.

Chronicle Live reports that Denise said in a tweet, that’s now been deleted: ‘Why doesn’t health expert & harbinger of doom Piers Morgan catch the last flight to LA & self isolate in his mansion for 2 yrs.’

She also shared a video of Piers on Good Morning Britain questioning a clinical director about action that needs to be taken to tackle coronavirus.

He is seen speaking over the guest, until Susanna Reid chimes in and tells her co-host: ‘Listen to the clinical director, you’re asking for information, allow him to tell you what the information is.’

Denise tweeted alongside the clip: ‘My hero is @susannareid100.’

Piers clashed with Lord Alan Sugar over his coronavirus tweets and blocked the Apprentice star (Picture: Twitter)

So far, it looks like Piers hasn’t responded to Denise, but he did reply to Lord Alan Sugar, who was seen teasing Piers about losing followers because of his coronavirus tweets.

Lord Sugar had tweeted: ‘Lost another 3063 followers today how you feeling Piersy @piersmorgan People are fed up with you .FACT.’

He later added: ‘Piersy after 3 days you have lost 7100 followers . Its telling you to shut up. Listen to the people @piersmorgan . We need some positive stuff in these horrible times try to lighten up a bit and find some thing interesting to talk about.’

Piers’ response? Blocking Lord Sugar.

He hit back: ‘OK, blocking you now until this is over. Too serious for your idiocy.’
