Charlie Sheen once showed up to Thanksgiving dinner at ex Denise Richards’ home, with a prostitute on his arm.

As you do.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about their unique celebrations during an appearance on the Daddy Issues podcast, revealing she had to tell her dad who the woman was.

Discussing the incident, the 48-year-old told hosts Dean McDermott, Adam Hunter, and Nicky Paris: ‘He just told me, “Hey, I want you to know so and so is here, but don’t worry, she’s going to be in the car in the driveway while we eat dinner.”’.

But actress – who was married to the 53-year-old for four years – was having none of it, and invited the woman in to join them for dinner.

‘And I’m like, “Oh my God, I cannot have her just sitting in the driveway”,’ she continued, before explaining she had a ‘long table’ for dinner, and the prostitute was sat ‘at the other end’ of it.

While the former couple told their children – Lola Rose and Sam – she was just Charlie’s pal, Denise came clean to her dad, Irv.

She continued: ‘My dad was seated next to her sort of-ish and he came up to me while we were all talking and stuff and he goes, “I think there’s something not right with that woman”. I go, “Oh, okay. Why do you say that?”

‘He goes, “Well, I keep trying to talk to her and she just doesn’t say anything and I’m just being friendly, making conversation”. I said, “Dad, dad, she’s a hooker, so don’t ask her any questions”.’

Reacting to his shock, she laughed: ‘I said, “Yeah, what do you think? They don’t always dress in fishnets and lingerie, dad”.’

Denise admitted her dad joked about the situation, adding it was ‘nice’ of her to invite the woman to dinner.

That is definitely a holiday season to remember…

Charlie confirmed the reports to People magazine, with his spokesperson telling the publication her words are ‘absolutely true’.

The Two And A Half Men star has had a tough few years, and recently made headlines after he opened up about his sobriety.

And, while appearing on Loose Women, he lifted the lid on what made him rethink his life.

‘It is very surreal to this day, I’m not sure how I created such chaos and wound up in that head space,’ he told the ITV panellists.

‘It’s like there was some alien or demonic possession going on.’

When asked what triggered his realisation, Charlie admitted he couldn’t get his daughter to an appointment she needed to go to, and had roped in a friend to drive them as he didn’t want to risk getting behind the wheel after drinking.

‘I couldn’t get my daughter to an appointment she needed to go to,’ he added. ‘And I was like, “Wow I’m not even responsible enough to be there for my children’s needs.”

‘So the next day I woke up and was like, “today is the day.”’
