Defiant Boris Johnson refuses to rule out shutting down Parliament AGAIN to push through Brexit


BORIS Johnson has sensationally refused to rule out proroguing parliament AGAIN in a bombshell interview.

The Prime Minister was quizzed by ITV’s Robert Peston’s this evening following his explosive appearance in the Commons following the Supreme Court’s ruling that his first shut down was “unlawful.”

However, when asked if he would suspend parliament again, Mr Johnson said his government were trying to “absorb the full implications” of the court’s decision.

Mr Peston asked: “And will you prorogue it before the Queen’s speech.”

The PM replied: “I, um, I, I would like to have a Queen’s Speech.”

Peston said: “So that means you will have to prorogue it.”

Mr Johnson then said: “We will have to absorb the full implications of the ruling.

“What the country wants, I think is for us to get on with a strong domestic agenda.”
