During the promotion of David’s autobiography, Camp David on Radio 4 in 2012 David also spoke publically on his friendship to matt.
He said: “We’re very different people and probably want different things and had different working methods.
David added: “Well, it’s over for the time being. Whether it’s over forever, I don’t know.”
It seems the pair have let bygones be bygones, after David tweeted a picture of them both in September 2019, which saw David and Matt back at each other’s side.
