David Beckham compares wife Victoria to Ross from Friends after spotting smiley Instagram

Former Spice Girl turned fashion mogul Victoria Beckham, 46, flashed a smile in a picture with the couple’s 15-year-old son Cruz. The pair posed in a mirror while wearing dressing gowns.

Victoria took the snap with her phone as she showcased her dark tan and white teeth.

In view of his 1.7 million followers, Cruz captioned the picture: “Apparently my mum does smile.”

David Beckham couldn’t resist commenting on his wife’s noticeably white teeth, as he remarked: “How white are mums @victoriabeckham teeth? It’s Ross from friends.”

The football manager was seemingly referring to the iconic Friends episode in which Ross resorted to teeth whitening in a bid to impress a date.

The character, played by David Schwimmer, made the error of leaving the solution on for too long, which resulted in his teeth being whiter than planned.

Following David’s comment, many more of Cruz’s followers flocked to his post to comment.

One user wrote: “Your mom gets more pretty as she gets older. Hope you two had a good time at the spa or wherever you guys are :).”

A second commented: “She should smile more often in photos.”

A third penned: “You look alike so much.”

“As is the case for so many I cannot wait for the time when I can be reunited with all my family. I miss you @brooklynbeckham. Kisses xx.”

Brooklyn later shared a selfie of himself and his mum to mark the special day.

He commented: “Happy Mother’s Day mum xx you are the most amazing mum and you are my best friend and I love you so much.”

The couple, who married in 1999, have four children; Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15, and eight-year-old daughter Harper.

In a rare interview last year, Victoria discussed her life as a working mum.

Speaking to Vogue Poland, she said: ”You know what it’s not easy and everybody says do you ever freak out? Yeah absolutely. Absolutely. We all do.

“You know when you’re a working mum you feel torn, you feel guilty, but you know I just do the best that I can do and my kids and David will always come first.

“But it’s no different for me to how it is for other working women. But you know that’s why we need to support each other first and foremost.”
