German lifestyle brand of strollers, car seats and baby carriers, Cybex has launched a collection with supermodel Karolina Kurkova, to add “fashion-forward” products for its consumers.
The Cybex by Karolina Kurkova collection, which includes strollers, a car seat, a baby carrier and matching accessories, launched exclusively at 10 Corso Como New York yesterday, February 28, ahead of its globally launch today, March 1.
The pieces feature Kurkova’s “keen eye for fashion” stated the brand in a press release, with “vivid red lips doubling as a style element and an expression of love,” which have been mixed with bold pops of colour and polka dots to reflect the model’s “philosophy of life: an attitude of playfulness and whimsy”.
Commenting on the project, Kurkova, who is a mother of two children, said in a statement: “When it comes to a stroller, you need something simple, but with personality; something safe, but stylish. That’s why I love Cybex.”
The supermodel’s collection includes two strollers, the ‘Priam’, a luxury stroller solution that transforms into a 3-in-1 travel system as well as the ‘Mios’, a compact stroller which also features a 3-in-1 travel system. These sit alongside the ‘Cloud Q’, an innovative reclining infant car seat, the ‘Yema’, an ergonomically designed tie-wrap baby carrier and matching accessories, including a changing bag and a footmuff.
In addition, as Kurkova has been championing sustainability in the fashion industry, her collection with Cybex features Repreve certified recycled fibres, with the yarn in each product utilises up to 31 recycled plastic PET bottles, creating an eco-conscious offering.
