Critics' Choice Awards 2020: Most glitzy red carpet looks from Zendaya to Anne Hathaway


The Critics’ Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles last night and a number of famous faces hit the red carpet as Hollywood’s awards season continues.

Zendaya stole the show in an outrageous pink number, which appeared to feature a molded breast plate, while Anne Hathaway, 37, glittered in gold sequins.

The Devil Wears Prada actress looked incredible just weeks after giving birth to her second child.

She was accompanied by her husband Adam Shulman, 38.

Jennifer Lopez, 50, went for a unusually modest beige gown, and Charlize Theron joined the sparkles club in a black and silver number.

The awards show was dominated by Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, which won best picture while Phoebe Waller-Bridge added more silverware to her cabinet.

Seen by many as a reliable indicator ahead of the Oscars, the Critics’ Choice Awards honour the best in TV and film each year.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s prolific awards season continued after Fleabag won big at the Critics’ Choice Awards while Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood was named best picture.

With less than a month to go until the Oscars, Tarantino’s love letter to 1960s Los Angeles received a timely boost as it was named the year’s best film ahead of rivals including The Irishman, 1917 and Marriage Story.

The best director prize was shared between Parasite’s Bong Joon Ho and 1917’s Sir Sam Mendes after Broadcast Film Critics Association voters could not split them.

Joaquin Phoenix took home best actor for his portrayal of a tortured loner in Joker while Renee Zellweger won best actress for playing Judy Garland in biopic Judy.

Brad Pitt won best supporting actor for playing an ageing stuntman in Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood and Laura Dern won supporting actress for playing a ruthless divorce lawyer in Marriage Story.

Kristen Bell wore a jewel toned lime green jumpsuit
