Cristiano Ronaldo playing time REVEALED by Solskjaer, Declan Rice top Man Utd transfer target, Lingard rejects deal

GOOD MORNING RED DEVILS FANS

Manchester City have emerged as rivals to United for the signing of West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

The 22-year-old has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.

The Hammers are said to value Rice at around £100million and are reluctant to sell their star man.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he might have to rest Cristiano Ronaldo to get the best out of the veteran superstar.

Just like Mason Greenwood at the other end of the spectrum at 19, the United boss has warned that Ronaldo may not be able to play every game.

Solskjaer said: “It’s not impossible to leave him out. He is 36, Mason is 19, so it’s the same.

“I have to manage his minutes, and I have to manage a 36-year-old’s minutes as well.”

The Red Devils are back in action on Tuesday after just two full days rest.

They get their European campaign underway with a trip to Switzerland to take on Young Boys.

And finally United are now 9/2 joint third favourites with Liverpool for the Premier League title.

Odds from Labrokes price the Red Devils at third joint favourites for the trophy behind Manchester City and Chelsea.
