27 years ago, Valerie Sneade and Jason Roy were young and in love.

But a conversation in a Dunkin’ Donuts shop led to them going their separate ways, as they decided they wanted different futures.

But 25 years later, their paths crossed again and they fell for each other once more.

And two years after getting back together, they decided to marry in the same place where their relationship had ended nearly three decades ago.

After breaking up, both went on to marry other people. Jason joined the Navy and had three children, while Valerie became an actress and singer.

The pair didn’t see each other for all that time but in 2018, Jason found out Valerie was performing in Worcester, Massachusetts.

She’d moved to Florida when she married and although she was now divorced, she still lived there but visited their home state.

Jason sat in the front row at the show and Valerie instantly recognised him.

They quickly fell in love again, and three months later, she moved back to Massachusetts.

On New Year’s Eve that year, Jason asked her to marry him.

Valerie said yes and they decided that the Dunkin’ Donuts where they had parted was the place they wanted to say I Do.

They married on Friday 27 December at Dunkin’ Donuts in Grafton Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.

‘It had to happen here,’ Jason told the Telegram & Gazette.

‘We think it’s an absolute riot,’ Valerie added.

‘Has anybody been married in Dunkin’ Donuts before? Maybe we’ll start a trend.

‘I think we’re going to appreciate each other more so much later in life because every day is a blessing.

‘I can’t imagine my life without him.’
