CORONAVIRUS has been detected in more than 28 countries, with the death toll over 600 people.
With tens of thousands of others thought to be affected, countries around the world are stepping up their travel advice to prevent further outbreak.

Indonesia is one of the few countries to have not reported any cases of coronavirus, while Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea have rising numbers.
Here is the latest travel advice for regions across Asia.
Is it safe to travel to Bali?
The latest advice for British tourists heading to Indonesia has warned that flights have been suspended between the country and China.
However, there are no reported threats of coronavirus in the country.

The UK government warns: “You should comply with any additional screening measures put in place by the Indonesian authorities.”
Bali immigration have also denied entry to 17 tourists attempting to enter the country who had been to China, as anyone who visited within the past 14 days is banned.
The US government has a Level 2 travel advisory to “Exercise Increased Caution” due to the threat of terrorism and natural disasters – however it it has not been updated in regard to to the coronavirus outbreak.

Is it safe to travel to Malaysia?
Malaysia-based airlines have suspended flights from the country to China, with 15 people reported to have coronavirus.
The UK government warns tourists to stay in touch with their airline as their flights may be “cancelled at short notice”.
Tourists are advised to comply with additional screenings implemented by the Malaysian authorities.
The US government issued an update on February 5, stating they were being “closely monitored”.
However, the travel warning for the country remains at the lowest level.

Is it safe to travel to Taiwan?
Reported cases of coronavirus in Taiwan has reached 16, according to CNN, following three new cases yesterday, including a couple in their 50s and a woman in her 40s.
The UK government has warned of new procedures in Taiwan following the outbreak of the virus.
They warn: “Foreign nationals (including British nationals) who have been in China, including Hong Kong and Macao, during the 14-day period before they arrive in Taiwan will not be permitted to enter.
“British nationals living in Taiwan, holding a valid residence certificate, who have visited China in the 14 day period before arriving in Taiwan may still enter, but will be required to self-isolate at home for a period of 14 days after arrival.”

They add that people who have only been in transit at China are allowed to enter Taiwan.
The US government has no warnings or travel advisories for Taiwan.
Is it safe to travel to South Korea?
South Korea has reported 19 cases of coronavirus.
While they have not cancelled all flights between China and South Korea, many have been affected and tourists who have been in the Hubei province of China in the past two weeks are banned from entering.
However, both the UK and the US have not issued travel advisories for tourists.
There are currently three reported cases of coronavirus in the UK, with Katie Price fearing she has the virus after a holiday to Thailand.
Thousands of people are stuck on a cruise ship after coronavirus was detected with a British honeymooner on board left terrified to “leave in a box”.
While countries are attempting to prevent the spread of the virus, an expert has warned there could be up to 50,000 new cases in China a day.
