Coronation Street ‘s Daniel Osbourne is set to cheat on his wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) with friend Bethany Platt (Sinead Tinker).
Coronation Street spoilers have hinted Bethany and Daniel will grow closer as they bond over their mutual struggles, including her abuse hell with Nathan and his fears over Sinead’s health, and they end up sharing a kiss, according to the Sun.
A source said: “Bethany and Daniel will grow closer over the next few weeks. “There’s a spark between them that comes at the worst possible time as Sinead’s cancer has returned.”
They added: “Daniel leans a bit too much on Bethany and she him after all her abuse by Nathan’s gang is brought back up.
“They’re both really vulnerable and one minute they’re talking and the next they’re snogging.”
The source added: “Daniel is going to be guilt-stricken over what he’s done to Sinead, and he’s terrified he’s getting his dad’s worst qualities.
“Bethany will confide in her family over what’s happened to try and come to terms with her own guilt.”

It was previously revealed that Sinead would lost her battle with cervical cancer after being diagnosed with it last year.
She will be told she needs to decide if she wants to die at home or in a hospice after doctors discover her treatment has failed, the Sun claims.
Sinead discovered she had cancer shortly after finding out she was pregnant with her first child Bertie.
Shunning treatment so she could continue with the pregnancy, Sinead was forced to give birth prematurely as her cancer progressed.
After a dramatic birth, Sinead then went through treatment and eventually recovered, but has been worried that the cancer could return at any time.
