Coppafeel! x Vans: the boob-illustrated sneaker collaboration set to drop in October

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which falls in October, Vans are launching a collection of trainers covered in various elements of the female anatomy.

The Vans Breast Cancer Awareness collection, which comprises of footwear, apparel and accessories, features four main designs all adorned with hand-drawn illustrations by a group of Vans designers.

The illustrations feature women, and breasts, of different races and shapes in a bid to normalise the conversation around checking breasts for signs of cancer.

At least £160,000 of the proceeds from the range, which is available for men, women and children, will benefit CoppaFeel! a UK-based breast cancer awareness charity which promotes early detection.

The charity are also hosting their tenth annual event, Festifeel 2019, which will be held at House of Vans and will feature performances from singers, James Bay, Bombay Bicycle Club and RAYE and various comedians.

CoppaFeel! was founded in 2009 by Kristin Hallenga who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 23. It is now the third most recognised breast cancer charity amongst young people and aims to ensure that breast cancer is diagnosed at the earliest possible stage by educating women on the signs and symptoms of the disease.

Vans, which was founded in 1966, is most famous for its footwear and has previously partnered with brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Supreme and Off-White.

The collection will be available to shop from vans.co.uk on October 1.
