Cody Simpson’s mother Angie appears to have given her tick of approval on her son’s new love Miley Cyrus.
The trio posed for a selfie on Thursday before having dinner at Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu.
In the photo, Miley did her trademark smile with her tongue stuck out.

She dressed elegantly in a satin long-sleeved bardot style top that were effortlessly sitting on the tops of her shoulders.
Cody also stuck his tongue out for the photo, and wore a Viper Room beanie matched with a black silk shirt.
Angie looked effortlessly chic in a structured blazer with gold buttons, a matching top and a silver pendant necklace with red X.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Being spoilt rotten by these 2 beautiful souls,’ along with heart emojis – seemingly giving her stamp of approval on their blossoming romance.
Angie, who is mother to actress Alli Simpson and youngest son Tom, revealed last month on Instagram that Cody had surprised her with a plane ticket to the US to spend time with him.
‘Codes surprised me with a trip for 2 weeks in December #losangeles #nashville #mommysontime,’ she wrote in the caption.

Miley, Cody and Angie are reportedly set to spend Christmas in Nashville with the Cyrus clan including Miley’s mom, Tish, who she has been close friends for many years.
Miley and Cody were first snapped together when they shared a kiss on a lunch date at health food restaurant Backyard Bowls in Los Angeles in October.
Their relationship began soon after her split from her summer fling with Kaitlynn Carter, following the end of her seven-month marriage to Liam Hemsworth.
Miley and Liam are still legally married and are yet to finalize their divorce after their secret wedding on December 23, 2018.
