Meanwhile six colleagues made the progression from associate to senior sssociate.  They include Craig Wilson and Jennifer Sherrington from the Aberdeen corporate team; Jimmy Dundas and Jamie Marshall from the Edinburgh finance practice; and real estate specialists Lindsay Dougall and Lindsey Wainwright, who are respectively based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There are an additional 11 Scottish-based CMS colleagues who move from lawyer to associate level as well as three promotions within the firm’s Glasgow-based Legal Services Unit.

This latest round of promotions follows May’s announcement that four of CMS’s Scottish colleagues – Paula Kidd, Carol Nisbet, Mark McMurray and Jenny Walker – were elevated to partner level.

Allan Wernham, managing director of CMS Scotland, said: “I’m pleased to announce these promotions which underline our commitment to nurturing and developing our people across Scotland. I applaud my colleagues’ hard work and dedication to their clients which has led to their well-earned progression within the firm.”
