Christine wrote: “My Nan got her angel wings.

“I know wherever she is, she will be knitting and watching LFC.

Finally at peace.”

She added: “My mum’s mum, my scouse nan.”

Christine shared a selection of pictures of her nan as well as a snap of the sky – and drew a heart shape in the clouds.

She then told everyone: “Wishing you all a wonderful Easter.”

The sad news comes just days after Christine admitted she’s “not afraid of dying”.

Christine was reflecting on filming Pilgrimage: The Road to Wild Wales.

Season six of the BBC Two series follows seven celebrities on a journey to understand each other’s spiritual beliefs better.

During her appearance on The One Show on Wednesday evening, Christine discussed her pilgrimage experience with her co-stars Spencer Matthews and Sonali Shah

Speaking about what she got out of the process, the mum-of-three said: “So much! Getting to know everybody else, understanding other people and religions.

“I think one of the best things was making friends.

“But for me personally, I think it was not being so afraid of dying anymore.”

Christine revealed to viewers at home that before she took part in the BBC show, she spent nights worrying about who would look after her young children if she were no longer here.

She added: “Before that, it was something that was really keeping me awake at night. I’ve got three young children and worries and concerns as a parent.

“Of course, you worry about not being around to look after them, but for me, it was really taking over my mind.”

The former model continued: “While I was on Pilgrimage, I really just learned to live in the moment and enjoy the present, to embrace the ‘Right now’, and that was the best thing that I took away from it.”

Amanda Lovett, Tom Rosenthal, Eshaan Akbar, and Michaela Strachan star alongside Christine, Spencer, and Sonali on Pilgrimage.
