As well as being one of the biggest selling artists of all time, Celine Dion is a bit of a fashion darling due to her love of the avant garde.

And her eccentric wardrobe doesn’t just cover red carpets and fashion week events.

The 51-year-old is singlehandedly bringing back the drop crotch trouser and while we refuse to look like we’re wearing a full nappy, we applaud her pulling them off.

Celine was pictured arriving in Paris for an event in a quirky pair of red trousers, with the crotch hanging almost to her knees.

Accompanied by her son Rene-Charles Angelil, Celine kept the scarlet theme going, wearing the relaxed trackies with a matching vest and red cat-eye sunglasses.

She paired the look with black trainers and a cardie, and it’s safe to say only Miss Dion could pull this one off.

Over the past few years, the Think Twice singer has started experimenting with her style, favouring pieces from Alexandre Vauthier, Valentino, Dior, Balmain, Balenciaga, Off-White and Givenchy.

And the UK will get to see her on-stage style next week, as the five-time Grammy award winner will be performing on 5 July in London’s Hyde Park as the first British Summer Time headliner.

Returning following her last UK shows in 2017, this comes a month after Celine wrapped her 16-year Las Vegas residency.

The Canadian star was joined on stage by her three children at The Colosseum at Caesars Place in Sin City following an emotional finale at the venue.

During the concert, she paid tribute to her late husband René Angélil as she and her sons René-Charles, 18, Nelson and Eddy, eight, watched a series of pictures of René, who died in 2016.

The singer ends her residency Celine At The Colosseum, which began in March 2011, on a high. It is her second production in Vegas, as her first residency A New Day… opened in March 2003 and ended in December 2007.

According to Billboard, A New Day… is the most successful residency of all time, grossing over $385 million (£302 million), followed by Celine At The Colosseum, which grossed $245.5 million (£192 million) by December 2018.
