She loves the great outdoors and keeping active, and now Carol Vorderman is sharing her progress in the gym with her Instagram followers.

The former Countdown queen, 60, took a girls’ holiday to Wales over the summer, taking to the waters to master paddle-boarding.

She gave her followers a glimpse inside her dreamy holiday home and took them along on her hikes, but now she’s home it’s ‘time to get back on the gym sessions.’

The TV personality reunited with her personal trainer following her ‘glorious’ trip, and the results seem to be showing already.

Her PT must have been making up for all those missed sessions, because Carol shared a snap afterwards showing the start of a bulging bicep.

After a summer of outdoor activities, she was thrilled to get back into her sessions, confessing that she’s ‘missed it’.

Talking to her 146k followers, she wrote: ‘I swear I have a little bicep after that sesh with Ripper,’ accompanied by a series of laughing emojis.

The best part is arguably that Carol’s gym sessions are all done from the comfort of her home, after she transformed the living room of her home in Bristol into a swish gym to keep active during lockdown.

She unveiled the makeover on Instagram, showing she had added black rubber tiled flooring, a pink yoga mat, and plus all kinds of fancy gym equipment, from free weights to a bench.

Carol refers to the space as her ‘multi gym,’ and uses it for everything, including squats and dumbbells.

She joked with her fans: ‘Expect loads of dull “look at me working out” pics to follow,’ but after splashing out on top of the range gym gear and looking as fab as she does, we’d be the same.
