Cardi B has given her daughter Kulture the gift of song to celebrate her one-year-old birthday.
She has already showered the cute tot with cupcakes, balloons and the world’s most adorable pink tutu outfit since her baby girl turned one on Wednesday.
And now the Bodak Yellow rapper has dropped a snippet from an unreleased song to ring in the milestone day.
Makes a change from the usual Colin the Caterpillar cake and gift card.
Cardi shared the special track on Instagram alongside a heartfelt montage of photos of her cuddling Kulture – who she shares with partner Offset.
On the song, she raps about the stress of being pregnant while working on her debut album, as well as the strain of life in the spotlight.
‘Hearing public opinions about my private decisions / And there right there, see, is enough to drive you crazy,’ she raps.
‘Complete strangers talking about my baby / Coming from people that never used to check for me / They brought opinions but nothing off the registry.’
The I Like It rapper explained that she recorded the song while she was ill and hadn’t yet announced her pregnancy – and said it just missed making it onto her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy, by one day.
Thank you everybody for wishing my sweet baby a Happy Birthday,’ Cardi wrote in the caption.
‘I made this song one day before I turned in my album and Eve gave me the green light for the beat I was so grateful! She a real one!’
She went on: ‘It didn’t make it on time tho cause as you can hear I was maaa stuffy with a terrible cold.I couldn’t get it right no matter how many times I spit it.
‘Even when we try to mix it u still sound stuffy. I love my baby she changed my life.’
The 26-year-old’s celebrity pals (aka everyone who is cool in the world) flocked to the comments to wish Kulture a happy birthday.
Rapper Stefflon Don, who Cardi recently twerked at an awards show with, commented: ‘Happy birthday pretty baby!’
Power actress, La La Anthony, added: ‘This is so sweet. Happy Birthday Kulture.’
Music producer Swizz Beatz chimed in with a few prayer hand emojis, while Naomi Campbell dropped a couple of love hearts.
