Cadbury fans name new Easter flavour of classic treat their ‘current obsession’

The snacks are currently available at Tesco for £1.30 after being announced back in December.

A clip was shared on TikTok by @newfoodsuk_official where the new launch garnered plenty of attention. Many who saw the video were eager to try the new product.

TikTok user Hayley Ward predicted the treat would be ‘sensational,’ while on X (formerly Twitter), @Frankcantdrive described the confection as a ‘revolutionary, magnificent, modern day miracle.’

Now that people have managed to get their hands on the new snacks, the praise hasn’t stopped pouring in.

Social media user, @ashasmushtuk said they were a ‘game changer, and @sophstar007 wrote: ‘Guys the orange mini eggs taste like orange smarties used to and honestly I needed that in my life.’

‘Has anyone actually seen those orange chocolate mini eggs in the wild?’ @vickymotaro asked, ‘I require them.’

Similarly, @michellesdowden remarked that they were ‘chef’s kiss,’ while @Jodieb92 described them as ‘somat else.’

And @miedemafcw said: ‘Ii’m usually not a fan of Mini Eggs but the orange ones are so nice.’ While @smiffy78 tweeted that the sweets are his ‘current obsession’.

The orange Mini Eggs aren’t the only thing driving chocoholics crazy — X users also shared their love for the Cadbury Creme Egg bars, which were previously announced in November.

What else is in the Cadbury Easter range 2024?

Cadbury fans have been spoilt for choice when it comes to Easter offerings this year.

In addition to the chocolate orange Mini Eggs, the confectionary brand have also unveiled a white chocolate Creme Egg Easter egg.

Last month, Cadbury went one step further with the return of an Easter egg that shoppers hailed a ‘game changer’.

This thick shelled Dairy Milk egg has crushed up Mini Eggs embedded within the chocolate.

And, you still get that bag of Mini Eggs as well.

The egg has actually been on shelves since 2021, making an annual reappearance at this time of year – but shoppers never get tired of it.

X user @HotCyder, for instance noted that it had a ‘perfect choc to goo ratio,’ while @fed_up_phil revealed that there was one thing he could never fed up with — the ‘moreish’ Cadbury Creme Egg bars.
