K-pop superstars BTS have signed on to be the official endorsement models for FILA, according to reports.

FILA, a sportswear brand founded in Italy, are now believed to be working with the star-studded band.

The new alliance would mean BTS have ended their long-standing relationship with mega-brand, PUMA, who they have represented for the last five years.

According to All K Pop, an industry insider leaked the news about BTS’ new deal.

The insider said: ‘At the news that BTS will not be renewing their contracts with the sportswear brand which they worked with for the past 5-years, [‘FILA’] stepped up and played every single one of their best networking cards available in order to obtain the endorsement deal.

‘Word is that the group signed with jaw-dropping conditions and treatment promised, as deserving of top global stars.’

What on earth have they managed to negotiate?

Industry experts estimate the contract fee to sign BTS as FILA models to be worth between three and five KRW. That’s over £2 million.

Although a rep from FILA has since stated no contract has been signed as of yet to FootwearNews, so it could be in the preliminary stages.

The band, consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, apparently ended their link with PUMA this year to pursue new opportunities.

BTS are practically bathing in success right now as worldwide sensations.

Currently busy on their mammoth Love Yourself Speak Yourself stadium tour, they jumped in on the chance to add another date on the end of it, returning to Seoul for their last show.

Not only that, but the boy group are set to drop a film this year too, Bring The Soul: The Movie.

The world’s their oyster right now and they’re certainly making the most of it.
