BTS are the biggest pop band in the world right now, and their fans (quite literally the BTS Army) have been busy today celebrating the 27th birthday of band member Jin.

The seven-piece K-Pop group – made up of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook – have become worldwide phenomenons since their debut in 2013.

They’ve scored a series of worldwide hits with DNA, Fake Love, idol and Boy With Luv featuring Halsey.

Jin – or Kim Seok-jin – was scouted to be a member of the band by Big Hit Entertainment as he was just walking down the street. What are the odds!

He made his debut as one of the four vocalists of BTS in 2013.

And to celebrate his big day, members of the BTS Army turned out in their droves to give their idol their very best wishes.

‘Love you and happy birthday Jin!’ one fan wrote, sharing a collection of hand-made letters to the K-pop star.

Another wrote: ‘Happy Birthday Jin! I love you so much!’

Echoing a similar sentiment, a third added: ‘Happy birthday to the most handsome, lovable and caring hyung in the entire universe!! Thank you for making me love myself! My wish is to be a elder sibling just like THE JIN HYUNG one day!’

It turns Jin even had his own hashtag for the event, #JinDay.

The boys also recently celebrated a massive win at the Melon Music Awards. Their haul comes after they were snubbed from the Grammys, failing to receive a single nomination.

But their loyal Army weren’t impressed, and took action over the snub in the best way possible.

In fact, they united and streamed the group’s entire collection in their droves, attempting to get their music into the US iTunes charts.

And they nailed it.

Map Of The Stars: Persona soared 35 places to number 24 while Love Yourself: Tear jumped a staggering 151 places to its new position at number 239.

Never, ever underestimate the power of BTS and their fans.
