USA might be running away with the Ryder Cup right now, but Brooks Koepka was still as animated as ever after a decision didn’t go in his favour during Saturday’s foursomes

Ryder Cup: Neil McLeman and Andy Dunn reflect on first day
Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger swore at rules officials after failing to get relief from a bad lie during day two of the Ryder Cup.
The four-time Major champion hurt his wrist at the recent Tour Championship. And he claimed playing his team’s ball from near a drainage ditch near the edge of a bunker on the 15th hole was potentially dangerous.
But match referee David Price denied the request by ruling the drain did not interfere with his swing.
“Have you ever seen me hit a ball?” Koepka said.
With Sergio Garcia – who was spotted spitting out his water after Koepka’s comment – also standing over the ball, Price was then backed by European Tour official David Litton.

Furious Koepka told them: “If I break my wrist, it’s on f****** both of you.” Berger then called the ruling “b******”.
World No 10 Koepka chopped the ball out onto the green without injury as his pairing made a par to half the hole against the Spanish duo of Jon Rahm and Garcia.
In the end, it was Rahm and Garcia who came out on top in the Saturday foursomes contest, beating their counterparts 3&1.
The Spaniards have been in formidable form for Europe so far, winning both of their foursomes matches at Whistling Straits – having defeated Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth 3&1 on Friday morning too.
Despite their heroics, Europe are in a dark place at Whistling Straits, trailing 9-3 heading into the fourballs action on day two.
By the looks of it, Padraig Harrington’s men need a Miracle at Medinah style comeback in Wisconsin come Sunday evening.
Steve Stricker’s men just need five and a half points from another 16 available to reclaim the Ryder Cup having lost last time out at Le Golf National in 2018.
