Britney Spears claims she ran 100m in just 5.97 seconds beating world record

Britney Spears has had a busy week, from declaring war on the rich on Tuesday to setting a new world record on Wednesday, or so she claims.

The Baby One More Time singer, 38, has said she ran 100m in just 5.97 seconds as she revealed she was getting back into running.

But the mum-of-two is far from amateur if those numbers are true, as the current world record for running 100m is held by Usain Bolt at 9.58 seconds.

Britney said: “Ran my first 5 !!!! Getting over your fear of pushing it in the beginning is key …. once I did that I hit 5 !!!!!

Britney, who has a rumoured net worth of £180million, called on people to look after each other in the post.

The post said: “We will feed each other, re-destribute [sic] wealth, strike. We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay. Communion moves beyond walls. We can still be together.”

The move was been praised by The Democratic Socialists of America, who called her their “comrade”.
