Nathan, 52, spoke with The Sun ahead of their UK tour where the American R&B group will perform alongside a full band delivering all their greatest hits.

The group currently consists of members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, and after over 32 years together and numerous tours it seems the trio often spend lots of time together, perhaps too much.

Speaking with The Sun Nathan said:

“Well get away from each other. It’s important when you’ve been together for over 32 years, it’s like a relationship.

“You need that time away from each other just to, you know, juice up and rejuvenate.

“So right now it’s kind of a little bit of time we have to kinda get around before we start gearing up to head that way in a little bit.”

Boys II Men rose to international fame when their 1992 hit, End of the Road became the longest number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, staying at the top for an impressive 13 weeks.

Originating from Philadelphia and best known for their emotional ballads, they existed in the 90’s as a quartet the group then became a trio in 2003, when band member Michael McCary left the group due to health issues.

When speaking about the UK audience the R&B star added:

“The audience is just lively, the UK just has a certain energy, man, that you kinda don’t get anywhere else.”

Accompanied by vocalist Brian McKnight, and joined by UK boy band Damage the trio will kick off their UK tour at The OVO Arena in Wembley on the 19th and 20th of April.

They will then perform at B.E.C Arena in Manchester the following night before a spectacular finish at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on the 24th of April.
