The company issued the nationwide recall after pieces of plastic were spotted on the manufacturing equipment where the Cheese Nips were produced.

Customers are being urged to check the sell-by date and throw their Cheese Nips away if the date matches the FDA recall.

The recall applies to a “limited” number of 11-ounce boxes of Cheese Nips.

Only boxes that have a “best by” date of May 18, 19 or 20, 2020, could be contaminated.

We’ve asked Mondelez UK which stores the recalled products have been pulled from and we’ll update this article when we know more.
