Blue Ivy proves she is a comedian in the making with ‘corny’ joke

Blue Ivy proved she’s inherited the performance gene from her famous parents as she showed off her budding comedy career.

The seven-year-old shared a “corny” joke with her grandmother Tina Knowles who shared her first foray into stand-up on Instagram

“It’s corny joke time, and I’m here with a very special guest, my beautiful granddaughter,” Knowles said in the Instagram video before Blue Ivy waved a hand in front of the camera.

“So how many lips does a flower have?” Blue Ivy asked before leaving a sufficient pause for the punchline: “Two lips.”

Double checking her grandmother understood the joke she explained: “You get it? There’s a kind of flower called a tulip.”

Fans were bowled over by the joke, with many predicting she will become a bigger “legend” than her mother Beyonce.

One user commented: “@beyonce better go sit down somewhere. Blue will be the LEGEND she was born to be and that’s that. Bey know she bout to get passed up.”

Another commented: “It’s so funny she thought she had to explain the joke!”

A third posted: “This video brightened so many peoples day. Her voice is absolutely adorable.”

Blue Ivy, whose father is Jay-Z, has won over a legion of fans since being introduced to the spotlight.

She went viral at the 2018 Grammy Awards where she was captured on camera telling her parents to be quiet as they applauded Camila Cabello during her speech on immigration.

She scared Jay-Z at an art gala last year after she bid $19,000 (£13,000) on a painting of young Oscar-winner Sidney Poitier.

The famous couple are also parents to twins Rumi and Sir.
