BLAST and SteelSeries Partner for Dota 2 Tournament

The BLAST Bounty Hunt Dota 2 competition has brought on SteelSeries as a sponsor. The Danish gaming accessory brand will provide all analysts and commentators with headsets, and will present all “bounties,” which award additional prize money for match victors.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The online-only tournament will be played June 9-13, and will feature a prize pool of $150K USD. This is the first Dota 2 competition series by BLAST, which primarily runs tournaments in another Valve game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Another of BLAST’s CS:GO partners, Betway, has also signed on as a sponsor for BLAST Bounty Hunt.

SteelSeries is a sponsor of BLAST Bounty Hunt competitor, OG, the only two-time winners of Dota 2’s top tournament, The International.
