It was a yellow carpet reveal for Blake Lively, who posed proudly with her baby bump at the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu premiere. Wearing a sequined daffodil dress, she was all smiles for the cameras.
This will be the third child for the couple. Currently, they have two daughters, James and Inez. While Reynolds and Lively’s children didn’t join them in Times Square, Reynolds admitted at the Tokyo showcase that it was his oldest daughter who convinced him to take the Pikachu role. And he and Lively will certainly be taking their kids to see the show. “We’re gonna go to the theatre for sure. Nothing beats the theatre experience,” Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight.
Reynolds and Lively may have high-profile jobs, but they prefer to raise their children out of the spotlight. “We want our kids to have the same normal life that we had. We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had because then we’d feel really selfish,” Lively said in 2016.
