Black Friday is upon us. When Thanksgiving dinner is over, gamers everywhere will head out to brick-and-mortar retailers, or hop online, to find some of the best deals and take advantage of the craziest shopping day of the year. Big savings on video games, video-game consoles and video accessories like headsets, gamepads, memory cards and even 4K TVs await.
This year, I’ll be looking at the best deals from various retailers in order to help you save time and find the best bang for your buck. Here are some of the best deals on PS4 and Xbox One video games, consoles and accessories at Best Buy this Black Friday.

Console Bundle Deals

Sony PlayStation 4 Bundle
- Sony PS4 1TB bundle with The Last Of Us, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn plus one controller $199. That’s $100 off the console plus three great video games. Not too shabby.
- PSVR Bundle for $199 (save $100). This includes “a headset, camera, multiple games, and more” and the picture shows two motion controllers as well. There are “multiple bundles,” so I’m not sure which games this comes with or how much the total price is, but it does sound like you get everything you need to get started in virtual reality gaming. The PSVR is a surprisingly capable system for the price.
Xbox One
Nintendo Switch
- Nintendo Switch with a screen protector and Mario Kart 8 – $299. Note: This is the older model of the Nintendo Switch and therefore comes with a shorter battery life. It’s definitely something to consider before buying. It’s also not exactly a “deal” other than the free screen protector.
Video Game Deals
The flagship video game deal at Best Buy this year is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare on PS4 for just $39.99. That’s $20 off a brand new Call of Duty title that also happens to be very good. Not a bad deal at all.

These $10 deals are terrific. You can load up on all the Uncharted games for $20. The Last Of Us is simply brilliant. And God of War is one of the best games this generation.
