Pep Guardiola has hit back at Roy Keane’s criticism of Erling Haaland, calling the Norwegian ‘the best striker in the world’. After the 0-0 draw against Arsenal, the former Manchester United midfielder said that while Haaland’s finishing was the best in the world his general play was ‘poor’ and that he looked like ‘a League Two player’. Guardiola refused to agree with Keane, saying ‘Erling is exceptional’ before criticising the negativity from a former player’.
