It feels like Black Friday at Walmart was only yesterday, which is kind of true because it neither begins nor ends on Friday anymore. We’ve now moved from Walmart’s Black Friday sale to Walmart’s Cyber Monday sale. In fact, pretty much all the retailers are now branding their sales Cyber Monday 2023 deals.
Technically, Walmart Cyber Monday starts at 7 PM ET, November 26. But by and large, the Cyber Monday deals are a re-branding of the Black Friday Walmart deals. There will, of course, be exceptions, but for a lot of the deals that didn’t sell out already, Cyber Monday is another huge opportunity to save, especially on things like video games, PCs and laptops, and lots of other tech.

Walmart Cyber Monday Best TV Deals
The Cyber Monday/Black Friday period is the absolute best time to get a new TV deal, and this year was no exception. Walmart kicked off its Black Friday sale with two online doorbuster deals on TCL 4-Series Roku TVs. The 65″ was marked down to $288 and the 55″ was only $188. Those sold out fast, in spite of the fact they were a repeat from the Black Friday sale at Walmart from the previous year. The Sony Bravia OLED was also on sale for Black Friday, and we’re hoping it comes back for Cyber Monday, because it was maybe the best OLED TV deal we’ve ever seen.

Gaming PCs rule and I’m a huge fan of PC gaming. It’s really the best way to play games, if you’re looking for power and fidelity. The PS5 and Xbox are catching up to gaming PCs, and who knows, we might see parity between console and PC performance sooner rather than later. But at the end of the day, you can customize your PC and upgrade it piecemeal to make something enormously powerful.
Prebuilt gaming PCs in 2023 are almost entirely made with off-the-shelf parts, which makes them upgradeable. And thanks to economies of scale you can often buy a prebuilt gaming PC for less than it would cost to build one yourself.
Gaming laptops lack the flexibility of upgrade you find in a desktop PC, but you can always upgrade the RAM. And since they do lack the DIY customization of their desktop brethren, manufacturers will often cram as many features as they can into a gaming laptop to maximize value. I used to tell people a gaming laptop wasn’t worth it, as there were too many trade-offs, but now I respect people’s desires to have what they want. And to be fair, the trade-offs now are pretty minimal.
