Ben Shephard, 45, took the opportunity to share a funny insight into his marriage while marking his 16th anniversary with wife Annie. The Good Morning Britain favourite shared a sweet black and white photo from the couple’s wedding day in 2004 on Twitter.
Ben quipped that he and his other half have been practicing social-distancing during the coronavirus pandemic and light-heartedly remarked that Annie has been sticking to the “rule at home for years now”.
The presenter tweeted in view of his 721,000 followers: “Me + Mrs S have made it to another year – 16yrs married which seems all the more significant with what’s going on.
“Fair 2 say there are worse people to have to social distance with.
“Not sure she’d agree as she’s been enforcing the 2m rule at home for years now!”(sic)

The couple share children Jack, 14, and Sam, 13.
Earlier this month, Ben shared an insight into his relationship with Annie after gifting her with a beautiful bunch of flowers.
The TV star awarded himself “husband points” for the floral present.
However, he later owned up to “nicking” the flowers from work.
Ben opened up about the situation while posting a snap of Annie, who was wearing a colourful floral shirt and clutching onto her gift with a big smile on her face.
He informed his fans in the caption: “You know you’ve nailed it when @mrsannieshephard accessorises her outfit to the flowers you got her.”
He then went on to say: “Well, I say I got them but to be fair I nicked from my @itvtippingpoint dressing room.
“So thanks to the production team – good husband points for me.”
