The BBC presenter accidentally called Conservative party politician Jeremy Hunt the C-word in a live on-air blunder.

The star continued: “It’s normally men who say that so I really, really want to apologise.”

The BBC’s subtitle service replaced the swear word with “EXPLETIVE”.

A video of the incident quickly began going viral online.

One Twitter user exclaimed: “Haha! Victoria Derbyshire called Jeremy Hunt Jeremy C***.”

While another joked: “Victoria Derbyshire will be collecting all her bet winnings from colleagues this afternoon.”

A third chimed in: “Give Victoria Derbyshire a pay rise. She’s merely saying what the rest of the country are thinking.”
