GREAT British Bake Off judge Prue Leith has been hired by Health Secretary Matt Hancock to help overhaul hospital grub.
The TV cook, 79, will advise ministers, NHS bosses and hospital chefs on how to improve meals.

It is part of a package of measures aimed at providing “healthier, tastier meals and greater choice” for patients, visitors and staff.
Mr Hancock will tell hospital bosses to stop relying on frozen ready meals and pre-packed food and instead use fresh, locally sourced produce.
Earlier this year six patients died from bought-in sarnies contaminated with listeria.
Many hospitals don’t have the staff or facilities to prepare fresh meals on site.
But Mr Hancock, launching the overhaul today, will say: “I’m determined that patients enjoy the best, most delicious and nutritious food to help them recover.”
PM Boris Johnson said of the “roots and branch” rethink: “It will ensure the NHS remains the standard-bearer for healthy choices, as it works unstintingly to improve the nation’s well-being.”
Prue, star of the Channel 4 show famed for its soggy bottoms, said: “A hospital meal should be a small highlight, a little pleasure and comfort, and it should help, not hinder, recovery.”
