‘Bachelorette’ Hannah Brown would be ‘miserable’ dating Luke P., alum Rachel Lindsay says

All season long, “Bachelorette” contestant Luke P. has rubbed his fellow competitors the wrong way. Now it appears that disdain has spread to the rest of Bachelor Nation.

Rachel Lindsay, the Season 13 Bachelorette, asked fans what they thought of this week’s episode in an Instagram post Tuesday. Her followers responded overwhelmingly that they were fed up with this season’s villain, Luke Parker, who raised eyebrows this week over comments that made star Hannah Brown feel like he was trying to police her body.

“She would be miserable,” Lindsay wrote of a potential future relationship between Brown and Parker. “Have you seen ‘Bird Box’? She would be like the people that looked the monsters in the face but survived.”

Spoiler alert for the small group of Netflix viewers who still haven’t seen the Sandra Bullock-led horror flick: that would be a very bad thing for Hannah.

Brown was seen as an unconventional choice to star on “The Bachelorette”: the 24-year-old former Miss Alabama finished in seventh place on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor,” where she was framed as a bit of an awkward villain. But since then, fans have applauded her goofy nature and ability to speak her mind.

“I wish she would just trust her instincts,” Lindsay responded to another fan who speculated it was producers who were keeping Parker around for so long, not Brown. “She’s almost there.”

Lindsay will still admit, though, that the Luke P. situation “might be frustrating, but it is still entertaining”: the ultimate paradox of “Bachelor” villains.
